We are so excited to see everyone at this year’s FREE Shred Day event, scheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at DeBerry Insurance Agency in Spring Hill.
This is our 8th annual event. The event has grown each year to accommodate hundreds of people. We are always striving to make our event better so it can be the best experience for everyone. This year, we will have a new traffic pattern to help ease traffic congestion on Main Street and keep our event running smoothly. Please take note of these important reminders:
1. All parking for our event will be courtesy of our friends and next-door neighbors at Spring Hill Eyecare. Please look for our event signage to help direct you.
2. We ask (if you are able) to please exit your vehicle after parking and bring your items to the line for shredding.
3. If you have mobility challenges, we are happy to assist you without you having to leave your vehicle. After you find your parking space, please turn on your hazard lights and we will come to your vehicle to collect your items for shredding.
4. Please plan to limit your items to be shredded to no more than approximately two banker boxes full.
5. Plan to bring any containers such as bags, boxes, or totes with you when you leave. We are unable to dispose of these items for you.
6. Please have your containers of items to be shredded opened or untied.
7. Do not include any metal, plastic, batteries, or other potentially hazardous materials in your items to be shredded.
8. As always, when the truck is full, our event will end.
